Simon Rosser, Store Manager of B&M, Pembroke Dock said ''We had a very productive day and had lots of interest, now the interviewing starts''

Open from 10am to 2pm, 138 people came through the doors, of which many were queuing at the doors waiting for the event to open.

Co-ordinated by Workways+, staff were on hand to introduce participants to potential employers and assist with completing application forms on the day.

Workways+ is backed by £7.5m of EU funds through the Welsh Government. The project is led by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council in collaboration with Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Councils.

Eleanor Brick, Pembrokeshire County Council Quality and Performance Manager for Workways +  said “I’m so glad that the event was productive for both the people attending, the employers and the training and support providers.  The feedback has been excellent and we will look to hold similar events in the future.’’
