The Western Bay Safeguarding Adults Board has a key role in monitoring the application of “Escalating Concerns With, and Closures of, Care Homes Providing Services for Adults” Protocol issued under section 7 of the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970 and sections 12 and 19 of the National Health Services (Wales) Act 2006, across the LA areas of Swansea, NPT and Bridgend.
