Centerprise

Centerprise is a dedicated enterprise and incubation centre based at the Neath campus providing a focal point for entrepreneurship within the college and supporting the college strap-line ‘More than just an education’. The main aim is to encourage involvement in enterprise activity and to promote the creation of successful new enterprises.

The project works in partnership with support providers and local companies to ensure that learners are given opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills and attitudes and to engage in activities that will provide invaluable experiences alongside a working knowledge of business and the needs of employers.

Centerprise provides a vibrant and professional working environment that aims to inspire learners (and staff!) along with access to a range of facilities and support. The centre houses a creative area (The Thought Bubble) which encourages creative thinking and the development of ideas, along with a hot desk office where learners can drop in and work on enterprise projects or early stage enterprise ideas.

Five shared office spaces are available for learners past and present who are ready to start up new ventures, along with a professional meeting room, access to a large training room and ICT facilities. Learners will be supported in developing the necessary skills and experience to help develop realistic and sustainable businesses.
